Jaguar C-X75 Bond Concept Jaguar Land Rover celebrated their vehicles, including the Jaguar C-X75, Range Rover Sport SVR and the iconic Land Rover Defender, appearing in the new Bond adventure, Spectre. Naomie Harris (Moneypenny) and David Bautista (Hinx) were guests of honour at the glamorous event showcasing special stunt vehicles used in the latest instalment of the James Bond series. Guests were entertained by British singer and musician John Newman, who performed a number of top ten hits from his album. Spectre, the 24th James Bond film, from Albert R. Broccoli's EON Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment, sees the Jaguar C-X75 drive through the moonlit streets of Rome in one of the movie's most iconic high speed chase scenes. Groupe Renault's industrial design team is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the disappearance of Le Corbusier (1965-2015) by designing and creating a project for a 21st century car inspired by the architect's modernist principles and theories. The interwar period saw the birth of modern architecture and the modern automobile. These developments had a major impact on lifestyles, particularly through the growth in car ownership in Europe and worldwide after 1945. Extraordinary genesis It all began two years ago. Increased performance and outstanding efficiency - the new Audi RS6 Avant performance and the new Audi RS7 Sportback performance top their respective model lines. Their 4.0 TFSI engine with 445 kW (605 hp) and up to 750 Nm (553.2 lb ft) of torque push acceleration nearly to levels usually reserved for supercars. Fuel consumption remains unchanged at 9.6 and 9.5 liters per 100 kilometers (24.5 and 24.8 US mpg), respectively, corresponding to 223 and 221 g CO2 per km (358.9 and 355.7 g/mi). These are best-in-segment figures. Engine The new RS performance models are equipped with the most powerful version of the free-revving V8 biturbo power unit with a displacement of 3,993 cc. Power output has been increased by 33 kW (45 hp) to 445 kW (605 hp), which is available between 6,100 and 6,800 rpm. The maximum rpm has thus also been increased by 200 revs. A constant 700 Nm (516.3 lb-ft) of torque is available between 1,750 and 6,000 rpm.
